russell's last day of attachment with us! hahas so today we just let him do most of the work :)

while we went to prepare his farewell gift! *forgot to take a picture of it!*

he also gave us this box of butter cookies!! :DD *yay* super duper nice la~

last day so we lunched at koufu instead~ :))

but since russell is leaving.. it means more work for shanlyn and i to do!!

ohh well~ we have to do it u know.. :)) cannot slack slack cause it's FYP!!!! :))

karaoke session and dinner with family~ :) hahas

so lazy to blog le.. there's still school tmr so night nights~ x)

cause monday wasnt counted and tuesday was a "holiday" then wednesday didnt have to come to school cause the risk assessment form wasnt done.. so....

shanlyn (my new labby) and i only started our official FYP work today! x) hahas

so today we had to prepare SOLID media..

had to prepare around 30 flasks so we had to weigh out all the ingredients:

-yeast extract-tryptone-glucose [i think]

and last but not least.. the wheat~ :P

had to make 2L of media then add 43ml to the wheat.. :)

super duper tiresome job la! and since we had to label all the flask.. i volunteered to label and.. i actually labeled the date "12/9/09"! hahas OMG OMG OMG la~ after labeling so many then i realised i was writing the WRONG DATE! hahahas

anyway.. we prepared a total of 44 flasks today! X) cause we were told to finish using the media and then autoclave all the flasks~ hahas

our autoclaving was separated into 2 batches and nice russell helped us to look after the second batch while we went home earlier.. x)

so i guess gotta start reading up on fungi and mushrooms and what not..

this is just only the BEGINNING x)

ok.. changed my blog skin to this for a while~ cause now i am having NARUTO FEVER AND RAMEN CRAVINGS! hahas x)

anyway.. this one week passed by really quickly and i'll be starting 6 FREAKING MONTHS OF FYP in school! :(

oh well.. at least i loved my one and only week of BREAK. x)

went to take my BTT on tue and bumped into jerry~ hahas :) so happy to see him like after almost half a year. x) he's planning to study medicine and he's gonna go back to south africa for good! :( no more jerry for like 6years and more after that.. oh well~ was glad to have meet him and chatted with him for a while~ xD



sooo.. on WED, went to meet lincoln and jolene for movie-dinner! hahas so excited la~ very long never see jolene :)) we bought tickets for "Marley & Me" and since i was H-U-N-G-R-Y.. we went to auntie anne's for pretzels~ hahas bumped into WELSON there la~ hahas i was a bit stunned cause i didnt know who jolene and lincoln were waving to.. then welson said i didnt look happy to see him cause i wasnt smiling.. LOL



i was surprised! hahas x/



anyway.. Marley & Me is SAD! :( i cried, jolene cried and lincoln cried! most people with emotions would have cried when watching the ending.. marley DIED! :( *sniff sniff*



but..... it was dinner time after the movie and we had to fill our tummy so our sadness gradually disappeared and we went to MAD JACK for dinner. x) hahahas i still think the one at jalan kayu is better. =



THURS and FRIDAY was spent with shufung~! x)



we went to the ZOO on thurs and sentosa on friday~ :) we were like tourists! xD take picture here and there.. eat here and there.. play everywhere~ hahahas fun fun fun! =)



think we exercised a lot at the zoo just by walking here and there to catch the showtimes and all~ hahahs x) i was like the part time tour guide also and shufung was the full time tourist! :) hehes



shufung was excited to see all the animals also.. like a little kid going to the zoo for the very first time! hahas



then on fri we decided to go underwater world too~ and the dolphin lagoon.. the underwater tunnel gave shufung fung a headache but she enjoyed seeing all the different sea creatures! hahas one day im gonna persuade her to touch the stingrays! hahas =D



at the dolphin lagoon we were kind of sun tanning while waiting for the show to start. first time shufung fung saw a PINK DOLPHIN! hahas but since the 3 dolphins were still young, they werent really PINK! and this time they didnt bring out the FULLY PINK dolphin. :(



so after a long day at sentosa went back to vivo to walk walk and eat eat.. saw welson working at NUM so waved HI to him to make up for that day.. hahas :)



ah well.. we had such a fun time together!

and fyp starts tmr. :( no more slippers and shorts and skirts for the time being! hahahas

ohh yea.. my aunt gave birth to a baby boy on sat~ :) not really give birth but Caesarean section.. hahas the baby has such a small head! =X but cute cute cute! :)
